Job Description:
INTECSEA is designing cutting edge deepwater marine riser systems for the offshore oil and gas industry. Candidates should be degree qualified with experience in the use of riser design software, including one or more of the following: Flexcom; Orcaflex, Deeplines, Shear 7. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Duties to include:- Interpretation of client design basis to construct analytical models Analysis for extreme loading; 1^st and second order fatigue; VIV; VIM; clashing Detailed FEA and design of critical riser components Accurate and clear report writing Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure completion of projects Ability to present to client at meetings with professional attitude Projects will include Concept Design; FEED; Detail Design and Supply
Education and Experience:
Experience preferred in the design of one or more of the following riser types: Flexible; SCR; Hybrid tower.
