Engineering design and construction management of Marine Riser Systems has been one of INTECSEA's core activities since the company was formed in 1984.
When the industry considered "deepwater" to be 600 ft (180 m), INTECSEA was developing flowline and riser technology for 3,000 ft (900 m) water depths. Today, INTECSEA designs pipelines in depths exceeding 10,000 ft (3,000 m), provides deepwater riser solutions and has unsurpassed experience in the industry for the design of insulated pipe-in-pipe systems. INTECSEA provides the oil and gas industry with effective technological solutions to hydrocarbon production and transportation in the extreme depths of the world's oceans.
INTECSEA’s primary emphasis is focused on pipeline applications in frontier areas, notably arctic and deepwater environments, and also for unusual service conditions such as high temperatures, aggressive fluids and complex fluid rheology. These specialized technologies are firmly established within INTECSEA's broad experience with practical design and installation technology needed for cost effective completion and operation of marine pipeline facilities in all environments. As a result, INTECSEA holds an impressive record of past projects for deepwater pipelines and risers, long distance transmission pipelines for oil and gas service, large diameter crude oil loading lines, deepwater high pressure flowlines, insulated flowlines for high temperature fluid transport and arctic pipeline applications.
