INTECSEA’s in-house survey and geoscience team includes senior surveyors, marine geophysicists, oceanographers, geologists, geotechnical engineers as well as pipeline engineers. INTECSEA’s offshore survey capabilities and project experience encompass marine geophysical and geotechnical surveys, pipeline routing, geohazard identification and avoidance, and permitting support through construction oversight and preparation and submission of as-built documentation. INTECSEA has established a reputation of expertise in the oil and gas industry, particularly in regards to route and site evaluation surveys in challenging and frontier environments. This expertise has been demonstrated through the provision of survey management services and pipeline route selection for some of the most significant deepwater pipeline projects in the industry.
From survey design to offshore supervision, INTECSEA works to provide cost saving solutions. The survey and geoscience team maintains an in-house global bathymetric and field development GIS database to expedite conceptual project timelines. We can provide data management and interpretation support to clients through all stages of a project. Offshore route selection and optimization is only one of our offshore capabilities; we also undertake a wide variety of other activities including foundation analysis, pipeline stability, slope stability and trenching studies. We use a variety of industry standard programs to analyze the raw data from the survey contractor to ensure data quality and accuracy at the sensor level. Given our understanding of project engineering and through working closely with SURF and pipeline engineers, our approach is always focused on providing the correct data for the design problem.
