While a construction contractor may be fully responsible for successful installation of pipelines and risers or pipeline and riser systems it is in the best interest of the Owner to maintain a degree of control that ensures timely completion and adherence to project technical requirements.

INTEC can provide experienced project management, field engineering and construction supervision staff to monitor construction operations and administer the contract. Such activities often include:

• Review and approve of contractor construction procedures.
• Witnessing performance and calibration tests of construction equipment.
• Witnessing welder qualification and welding procedure tests.
• Supervising fabrication and/or construction activities.
• Witnessing pipeline systems testing, drying, and pre-commissioning.
• Administering construction contracts including progress payment review and approval activities.
• Provide project management during installation phases, including cost control, scheduling, and progress reporting.
• Compilation and/or verification of as-built documentation.
