Gyrfalcon, Gulf of Mexico Total Offshore Production Systems (TOPS), Houston, TX The Gyrfalcon Project consists of a 2.7 mile, single well tie-back from an existing high pressure, deep gas well located in Green Canyon 20. The water depth at the well is 885 ft whereas the water depth at the Shell Boxer Host Platform is 750 ft. The existing 17,860 ft deep well with an initial reservoir pressure of 14,752 psi has been completed and two phase flow will be produced through a Flowline Termination Sled and a nominal 6-inch heavy wall flowline to the Boxer Platform in GC 19. All subsea connections planned for ROV operations were executed successfully. The Gyrfalcon Project includes the following industry firsts: First 15K subsea tree; First 15 K chemical injection system; First 15K Super Duplex umbilical and first flexible flying leads rated 12,5000 psi; First 12.2K flexible riser (5-inch ID). 2000

Pluto Subsea Development,Gulf of Mexico Mariner Energy, Inc. The Pluto Field Development is located approximately 60 miles off the south-eastern coast of Louisiana in Mississippi Canyon Block 674, in the Gulf of Mexico. It is operated by a joint venture between Burlington Resources and Mariner Energy Inc. At the present time the 29 mile 8-inch steel flowline is the second longest subsea tie-back in the Gulf of Mexico. The field will produce gas condensate with an initial flow rate of 70 MMCFD through a rigid jumper to a Cameron designed PLET to the host platform. 1999
